Our Grandparents Never Had The Chance To Visit The Yucatan Resort of Cancun

August 31st, 2009

Prior to the Seventies, the vacation destination known as Cancun was out in the country.  It all started when the government decided it needed to draw more international vacation activity to a nice beachfront town on the Caribbean.  They would start the development project and offer travel deals to entice visitors; it worked.

It has been less than 40 years and the hotel development has been amazing along a waterfront strip known as the Hotel Zone.  The town is now a major city with an urban downtown, major shopping areas and world-class dining.  In the slow economy, many of the hotels are offering Cancun travel deals and you can find lodging at most any budget range.

Do be aware that the Yucatan Peninsula can be rather humid, with high heat in the summertime.  It might be worthwhile to consider a trip when it is cooler in the Spring or Autumn months.

Speaking of traveling, one creative gift idea for family or friends who are celebrating a special occasion is to give them travel gift vouchers.  If you buy the right voucher, you can pay in advance for certain airfares or hotel costs, car rentals and admission prices to theme parks and museums.

We’ve observed that travel gift vouchers are less common in the U.S. than in European countries.  You must be careful to buy a gift card that is useful and flexible, so they are not for everybody.

Registry Cleaner Concerns

August 31st, 2009

The Windows system registry, although it has been hailed as one of the best innovation in operating system since Windows 95, is still experiencing its highs and lows.

Indeed, it is referred to as the single point of failure; yet this same connotation carries a big responsibility.  One single complication in the entries may ultimately lead to the crashing down of the computer, at worst scenario.

Under sever conditions, data may not be even recovered and the user might as well consider doing a full re-installation of the Windows operating system. Instead of saving the computer, there is a possibility that files may be lost.

Computer registry may turn into a home of garbage.  This will lead to the expansion of the registry and result in poor performance.  The system will be unstable and ineffective. Check out our registry easy review to see how a registry cleaner might help you here!

Even experts in the field are open to the possibility of removing one wrong entry completely.  Some of the knowledgeable users actually go through the registry manually to make sure everything is done correctly.  They are afraid, in fact, to lose important data.

Back-up. Back-up. Back-up. If you don’t want to find yourself crying in the end, better back-up your files.  If you back-up your files, you will not have to worry about losing important programs and can readily go back to the original state prior system configurations and modifications.  Please take note that when you lose data, restoring specific areas of the registry may consume too much of your time and may even be too complicated.

RegCure Registry Cleaner, on the other hand, will not make you take too many risks on your registry.  It has features that offer safety and security in terms of backing-up and restoring respectively. Check out our RegCure review!

In addition, RegCure enables you to delete items in your registry that are no longer applicable and your computer will function like brand new! For more information consult with our registry cleaner reviews

Profiting Online Simple Not Easy

August 31st, 2009

One of the simplest and most overlooked aspects of online marketing is that it’s not complicated. Or more to the point,, there are many “gurus” who try to make it complicated. Aside from whatever motivation they might have to do that online profits happen as the result of one simple equation –

Traffic + Conversion = Sales

– performed over & over again

There are MANY ways to get traffic (visitors) to your site and get them to take some action or “convert,” which will either result in more leads or (less frequently) result directly in more sales to your business.

So here’s the other simple rule — you only need to master 1 or 2 traffic methods and 1 or 2 conversion methods, and you will make money. When you drive you only need to know two pedals, and you don’t need to know EVERYTHING about internet marketing in order to add revenue to your business.

With that in mind, there are a few basic traffic techniques I’ve implemented in some of my sites and client sites that have universally and consistently WORKED. Here are a few of those methods — but remember, you only need to pick one or two:

Traffic Generation

1) Twitter — highly effective for targeting your niche and developing the conversation with your customers and prospects. In fact, it is second to none. However, most businesses don’t know how to use Twitter effectively. They spam with “sales tweets” — “Look at the cool new thing I’m selling.” The 80/20 rule is highly effective — 80% of your tweets should be about something interesting, funny or otherwise engaging… a question of the day like “What’s for lunch?”… anything to get people talking, laughing, thinking… Also, keep it consistent and be generous with re-tweets. A few tweets a day go a long way toward establishing a rabid list of followers. The wrong thing to do is to Tweet like a madman for a day or two and then disappear for a month. Or worse, don’t reply when someone direct messages you or @messages you. That’s like ignoring someone at a dinner party when they ask you to pass the gravy. You WON’T get any dessert.

2) Video marketing is a very fast way to rank your site and get lots of inbound traffic. Keep your videos consistent — don’t show up one day in a baseball cap and dark lighting, talking about the rain, and another day bouncing in a jungle gym screaming about business leads. Consistent message, consistent tone, consistent look & feel. Also, be sure to put a call to action in your video’s description, as well as the full URL of your website’s landing page, and use appropriate keywords.

3) Article marketing is an evergreen method for outstanding traffic generation, with one HUGE caveat — mix it up! Putting the same article on 400 article directories will get you nowhere fast. You will get a bump in traffic from all the inbound links until Google figures out they’re all the same article and basically count it as one link. There are content spinners out there that alter the content of your articles automatically, but you have to be very careful here as well. Most content spinners change a word or two to replace it with a synonym, or they mash up the article randomly so the output is basically junk that cannot be read. It has to pass human review. So if you’re looking for a quality content spinner, ideally you want to be able to change the entire sentence many times throughout the article, and then have it spin those into hundreds of different articles. That’s the professional way to do it. At the bottom of your article, have a call to action in the information field; a blurb about you (the author) and a link to a free guide the reader can pick up at your website.

Visitors Taking Action

1) Keep it simple. The landing page has to do ONE thing — get people to ACT. For this reason, it’s been called a SINGLE ACTION PAGE. Pear it down to the bare essence of what you need the visitor to do. Consider placing a video on the page with a very simple message, “Hey thanks for stopping by for my free whizbang. Just type in your first name and e-mail address and I will rush it right over to you. In just a moment after you send your information, you’ll get an e-mail with a confirmation link. Click that link and I will instantly send your free whizbang.”

2) Direct, direct, direct. Notice the video script in #1 above — see how we instructed the user on exactly what they need to do? And then we told them what to expect next, and what they would then need to do. And we closed with a reminder of the benefit — the free whizbang.

If you have trademarked the term “whizbang,” then I apologize in advance. ;)

3) Test, test, test. ALWAYS have two versions of your landing page operating at one time. You can optimize your landing page using freely available Google tools in the Web Optimizer toolbox. You really can’t go on “gut” here — the data will be you every single time. Even on PPC ads, we have literally seen the addition of a question mark in the ad increase conversion by 16.8% So test, test, test.

Conclusion

These methods work on any business in any industry. Here is some social proof –

Local landscape designer increased her traffic by 7,342% (yes seven thousand percent)

  • Local artist went from three visitors a day to an average of 41 visitors a day
  •

  • International digital publisher had zero e-commerce and started converting 16% of all traffic to revenue within 72 hours of implementing one traffic strategy and one conversion strategy
  •

  • Changing a landing page to a simple design on an e-book site turned conversion from an anemic two sales per week to eight sales a day — on the same traffic.
  •

I hope this helps your business. The average business fails to do what it takes to drive traffic or achieve conversions to their website. While they exercise 20-30 traffic methods on average, they don’t do a single one effectively.  There are many sources online to learn about effective marketing strategies, including free resources and some almost-free, like the definitive guidebook  750 Traffic Generation Methods.

Do-it-for-you solutions are also available; experience guides the appropriate strategy for the website and market. The biggest challenge business owners face is knowing which strategy to implement. Experimentation can be very costly in terms of time and lost sales… The key is to find a reputable marketing firm that offers a full range of customized services as well as downloadable products and courses to assist every website owner at every budget level.

The Skill Of Honoring A Secret

August 30th, 2009

Most people don’t know how to keep a secret, but how many really value the true integrity behind staying true to their word? It becomes a serious matter of the level of values that a person holds. If someone’s values are not aligned with the secret bestowed upon them, then they are most likely going to break the promise of keeping it quiet. Trust it to a friend and next thing you know, you can download the secret online or maybe it is being marketed to the entire world. Maybe be a little more careful who you share that precious information with next time or you never know where it will end up.

Perfect Vision

It’s hard to have perfect hindsight all the time and understand the true value of something that is given to you. What is currently your most valued secret could be somebody else’s open diary. It is truly hard to value something that you didn’t have to work for in the first place. Maybe you won’t feel the consequences if any damage is done. One day you may realize that perfect vision is something that we all have but we need to understand our own little secret first. And that is our own secret ability to keep true to others with honesty and integrity.

Australian Internet Marketing

Online marketing is an area that doesn’t have many secrets at all. It is all published somewhere online. It has been shared and shared again. Australian Internet Marketing is progressing rapidly and slowly keeping up with their overseas counterparts. Although some secrets are seemingly well kept, mainly all the tricks are in the marketing itself. Of course, marketing the selling techniques is always going to be the best selling ticket item online. But the most valuable secret behind their marketing is keeping the information close to your chest. Even when it isn’t much of a secret at all!

Make sure next time you are given a valuable secret to keep, that you seriously consider the value behind it and truly honor the trust bestowed on you. Treat it like you didn’t have it in the first place and then you wont have a problem with loose lips and sharing other people’s confidential information.

Car Safety Rating

August 30th, 2009

Your car must be as safe as possible and this should be a top priority when it comes to your lives and also your family’s. You can become informed of the extent of the safety of your car by performing a simple search on the internet or by consulting with the retailer or your car.

Many decades ago, car crash ratings differed significantly from now as they were attempting to demonstrate that wearing a seatbelt is the safest aspect of the vehicle to increase the chance of survival. These days, car manufacturers have added elements of safety in the mechanics and steering alignment.

You will observe that there are air bags and also side, rear and front impact panels built in new cars. It can be compared to the presence of an enclosure constructed with protective panels. This has played an important role in considerably protecting individuals in the event of a car crash.

At the second of a major impact, airbags inflate according to the specific force or speed. Airbags have now also been incorporated at the side in addition to at the front. This acts to cushion the blow of the passenger within the vehicle.

With the passage of time, more and more vehicles are being created with safety devices in place leading to injuries and damages that are substantially reduced if these did not exist. The safety rating of a car can give the driver an understanding of how well the car has protected the passengers in surviving past car crash accidents. Although the safety features are not serviced when you take your car to a mechanic, these were consistently tested during the manufacture of the car to ensure that the design is as safe as possible.

If you select a vehicle that has a high safety rating, you are ensuring that you are doing everything in your power to safeguard your passengers from the risk of damages or even worse, an impending death. There is no harm in calling or visiting the Consumer Affairs or reporting agencies to verify how well the model of your vehicle has previously performed in protecting passengers. The intention of the existence of such departments is to place and record complaints relating to the impracticality of a vehicle or a product or ones in which specific features are not in working condition.

Regardless of whether you are considering purchasing an old or modern type vehicle, you should check out their respective safety ratings and the importance of this cannot be more emphasised. Prior to marketing these cars, the manufacturers examine the safety of such cars by driving a tester car headlong into a wall to determine the extent of the impact on the dummies inside. You always gain rather than lose by researching the particular car safety rating for your vehicle.

Storage Shed for around the house…

August 30th, 2009

When you have limited space in and around your home, you may find that it is necessary for you to have an alternative source for storing items. You can use a storage shed for the outside equipment that you have to have. This will be a huge help for anyone that wants to have all of his or her equipment well kept and organized.

A storage shed can be used in just about any area. These sheds are placed in backyards across the globe and are used in many different ways. This is the ideal place for all of your outdoor lawn and garden equipment and tools. If you have a lawn mower or tractor this would be the best place to store them when they are not in use.

You can also use a storage shed for children’s bikes and toys that they will use throughout the year. You can use this space for the bikes but also the scooters, balls, bats, sleds, skateboards, and many others outside toys and accessories that kids like to play with. This would keep the items stored neatly as well as keeping them together in one place for the child to find easily.

Storage sheds can be made from many different materials. There are wood, vinyl and even cedar sheds to decide on. You can choose the one that you like best and that fits your needs better. Once you have your shed, keep it well maintained and it will look nice in any yard for many years to come.

Lower cost heating methods for cash strapped home owners

August 30th, 2009

With the rising costs of oil, propane and utility bills it is not surprising that sensible home and business owners will investigate alternative forms of heat and power generation. There are many sources of generating alternative heat and power available to homeowners today. The physical location of the property and the most commonly available local fuel supplies will normally determine the most practical type of alternative heating to consider installing in a home.

Alternative heating can dramatically reduce domestic fuel bills substantially and in some cases can eliminate bills completely. Alternative heating can also enhance the resale value of your home sometimes by many times the yearly fuel bill saving. Some alternative heating methods are carbon neutral and therefore help save the planet in adition to reducing your costs. Adding alternate heating systems to your home can reduce your exposure to world inflation and escalating fuel prices.

Other methods of alternative heating often depend on burning a fuel supply such as corn, wood or wood pellets in corn stoves or wood burning stoves. It is worth considering that the price of corn is likely to vary more greatly than wood as it is a world commodity. World commodity prices for shelled corn per bushel have varied between $2.50 and $7 in recent years. The price of corn in each locality is influenced by world commodity price and local supply. Wood pellet prices are usually a little more static. Where both fuels are easily available it is probably a good idea to choose a dual fuel burner that can burn both wood and corn.

It is critical to do some research before choosing an alternative heating method for your home and it may well be worthwhile consulting local professional experts. As with any home improvements a well designed and installed system could add significant value to your home on resale.

The Definitive Guide to Bathroom Mirrors

August 30th, 2009

Introduction

Central to the mythology of mirrors is Narcissus a Boeotian hero, who disliked those who loved him for his own natural beauty. He famously gazed into a pool of water and was so fascinated with the reflection, that he was unable to bring himself to leave the image. Not realising that the image he could see was of his own natural beauty, he couldn’t bring himself to leave the image, and he perished.

The concept of how the mirror works is quite simple. It stems simply from the reflective surface of still water and therefore nature plays its part. When you look down into a puddle or a dark pool of water, the smooth water reflects the light straight back into your eyes.

Mirrors work in a similar way, in that a mirror is made up of a coated glass surface which when a polished metal surface or metal film is applied behind the glass, light cannot shine through and so reflects the image back. Young children particularly, are always fascinated when they look into a mirror for the first time and see their own reflection staring back at them. Anyone who has young children will remember the vision of their young son kissing their image on a mirror. My eight year old daughter loves sitting in front of her mirror doing her hair nearly as much as my fifteen year old daughter!

Where would we be today without mirrors? Mirrors are generally used for personal grooming or interior decoration and have developed from a luxury item into a necessity. There is an enormous variety of mirror shapes and sizes and over the years, mirrors have gradually developed to meet many different requirements. Today there is a large selection of mirrors , ranging from small mirrors to large mirrors, framed, unframed and includes bathroom mirrors, decorative mirrors, illuminated mirrors, LED mirrors, shaving mirrors, make up mirrors and demister mirrors.

Away from personal use, mirrors are also used in industry as part of scientific apparatus such as cameras, lasers, telescopes and periscopes, to reflect light and used as tools in dentistry and medical care. Not to mention the beauty and hair salon industries.

History of Mirrors

The history of mirrors as far as we can see dates back over 8,000 years. The earliest known mirrors were made from pieces of polished stone such as obsidian, a naturally occurring glass from cooled volcanic lava flows. In Anatolia in Turkey, examples of obsidian mirrors dated at around 6000 BC have been found. In south and central America, polished stone mirrors from around 2000 BC on wards have also been found. From around 3000 BC mirrors of polished copper are known to have been crafted in ancient Egypt.

The first metal coated glass mirrors are thought to have been made in the first century AD, in Sidon, known today as Lebanon. The Roman author Pliny makes reference to glass mirrors backed with gold leaf in his Naturalis Historia, one of the largest reference books to have survived from the Roman Empire, which focused on natural and man-made objects and was written in around 77 AD. The Romans also created a technique for making crude mirrors by using molten lead to coat blown glass.

In the 10th Century Arabian Physicists, considered different types of mirrors, reflecting mirrors and parabolic mirrors and another discussed concave and convex mirrors in both cylindrical and spherical geometries. In undertaking various experiments with mirrors, finding the point on a convex mirror at which a ray of light coming from one point is reflected to another point was solved.

During the period of the 14th to 17th Centuries, across Europe a method of coating glass with a tin-mercury amalgam was perfected by manufacturers. Venice was recognised for its glass making expertise and soon became a centre of mirror production using this new technique. Glass mirrors from this period were extremely expensive luxuries. Manufacturers also evolved in London, France and Germany.

The particular process of silvering to produce the first silvered-glass mirror is credited to German chemist Justus von Liebig in 1835. He developed a process to apply a thin layer of metallic silver onto glass through the chemical reduction of silver nitrate. The process was adapted for mass production and led to the greater availability of affordable mirrors and formed the basis of what we now consider the normal way to produce a mirror today.

The evolution of the mirror over the years is quite interesting, if like me you love mirrors! It has developed from a luxury item to an item which is now taken for granted in daily use. Today, walk into any shop to look at mirrors and the selection is vast, with many technology features now finding there way into mirrors, to give added simplicity, luxury and decoration.

New features such as Illumination, LED lighting and demisters now provide a huge bathroom mirrors range to choose from.

How are Mirrors Made?

The manufacture of mirrors includes the application to a suitable material of a reflective coating. Glass is the most common material, due to its ability to take a smooth finish and its rigidity. Glass is also more scratch resistant than many other materials previously used for making mirrors.

Early mirrors were made of solid metal, bronze or silver and they were far too expensive for most to be able to afford. Metal is also prone to corrosion and because of polished metal’s low emissivity, antique mirrors were less suitable for indoor use. With indoor lighting at the time supplied by candles or lanterns, the metal mirrors reflected a much darker picturecompared to modern glass mirrors.

In modern times ‘float glass’ is used in the manufacture of mirrors, which is a flat ribbon of glass which is run out of a furnace and along the surface of a bath of molten tin. The temperature of both the glass and molten tin is controlled to enable both surfaces to be made perfectly flat. There are now three common types of mirrors: plain - which has a flat surface, and the two spherical types of mirrors: the convex and the concave. The concave and convex mirrors can be used in an entertaining way, when used at fairgrounds or amusement parks to distort peoples figures reflected in them through bloating, stretching and shrinking, the person or object in front of them.

In some applications, a mirror isn’t a mirror at all. For example, when used in public conveniences, especially in public or factory toilets, where for reasons of cost and the need for greater durability, a single polished metal sheet is often installed as a form of mirror.

Different Types of Mirror

Throughout the ages, mirrors have been employed as symbols of truth, deception and vanity. Mention a mirror and you instantly know that if you look into one, you will see your own reflection staring back at you. The image you see will resemble your own appearance. In optical principles, the reflections in mirrors do not totally match the objects in front of them. When looking into the mirror, trace the contour of the reflection of your head in a mirror. The reflection may correspond in proportion, but will generally be half in actual size.
With such a variety and huge range of mirrors now available, much has been made of the amount of money spent in purchasing mirrors particularly by women, although in this day and age with an increase in men purchasing cosmetics, some men will also be vain enough to carry a mirror. I wonder if in another decade or two, me calling men vain for carrying a mirror will be thought of as ridiculous!

The vain Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs famously asked her special mirror, “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” Mirrors are synonymous with truth.
Mirrors are frequently used in interior decoration to create an illusion of space, and to decorate and amplify the apparent size of a room. They will be used around the home, the office, a pub, club or restaurant to good effect. They work particularly well in night clubs, reflecting the many images of light in the club or room to create a feeling of a much bigger space.

Infinity Mirrors provide an effect of never reaching an end, known as ‘infinity breaking’ and are particularly effective when used in a dark environment. I remember experiencing this phenomenon for the first time as a child in a large department store lift, where mirrors where on all sides of the elevator car. For those who are not good in lifts I should think this effect probably does nothing to calm them, perhaps that’s why you don’t see lifts like this anymore Or is it just because I’m getting old and that was a particular style popular in the 70’s!

My next favourite kind of mirror after the infinity mirror is the heated mirror, these mirrors have a heating element or what is called a demister pad mounted on the back. The reason a mirror steams up when you have a shower is because the surface temperature of the mirror is colder than the air temperature and causes the water vapour in the air to condense on the mirror. Some bright spark realised long ago that it if you heated the mirror this would avoid it steaming up, brilliant!

For many years heated mirrors have only featured in very expensive bathrooms usually costing thousands, and quality hotels have used heated mirrors as a neat differentiator from the increasingly popular budget hotels and motels. Of course it is not until you step out of the hotel shower and see yourself in the mirror that you realise it is there! Whilst at the back of your mind you realise this is one of the reasons why this room is more expensive than the other hotel across the street.

Last week I heard the BBC Radio 2 DJ Ken Bruce state that the best shave you ever had will have been in a hotel, to which he attributed the benefit of the heated bathroom mirror as the main reason. I have to agree, and every time I stay in (nice) hotel I always have a really good look at the bathroom with a view to reproducing the best of its features in my own home.

A stylish heated shaving mirror might not be as expensive as you think it is, as with many mass produced items, prices have come down quite a lot over the last ten years with new mass production techniques.

In 1980, ska group The Beat had a UK top ten hit with ‘Mirror in the Bathroom’ and the bathroom is probably the location where we are most intimate with our mirrors. Many will say that it is not wise to look at yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning, but the bathroom is often the first port of call in the morning. Many bathrooms feature a main bathroom mirror positioned on a wall and a bathroom cabinet with mirror doors. Other than the “oh my god” do I really look like that expression, the uses of a mirror or mirrors in a bathroom will generally be to aid the application of make up, hair styling or shaving.

One of the major problems with bathroom mirrors is that after showering or bathing, the mirror is misted over. A recent addition in the manufacture of heated mirrors is the inclusion of a demister pad which clears the mirror for use in mere seconds. Imagine never having to again wait for the steam of the bathroom to disappear from the mirror, or having to open the window, before using the mirror to shave or apply make up. The bathroom mirror demister or steam free bathroom mirror is a great invention. Some manufacturers refer to these products as fog free bathroom mirrors and there is now a huge range available, again some with back lights, LED lighting and built in shaver points.

Demister mirrors and steam free bathroom mirrors are not the only recent developments on mirrors. As suggested above another reasonably new product is the back lit bathroom mirror. Illuminated mirrors maintain the features of a simple mirror, but will enhance any environment in which they are used with the addition of lighting. As with all mirrors, the range of illuminated mirrors is extensive, with a variety of sizes and shapes available. An Illuminated mirror with shaving point can also be purchased.

Mirrors with illuminated LED lights will enhance any bathroom or environment in which they are installed. Being of low energy consumption LED, or light emitting diode, are more environmentally friendly than traditional bulbs. They are designed to withstand the dampness of the bathroom environment. So steam mist will not cause a problem. As a real luxury mirror, illuminated bathroom mirrors and bathroom mirrors with LED lighting can also include a demister, to demist the mirror in just a few seconds and an on/off sensor to activate the lights as soon as motion is detected in front of the mirror.

As a bathroom accessory the mirror should come high on the list, in fact can you really have a finished bathroom without a mirror? The enormous selection of styles, types, shapes and sizes means that there must be a mirror to match anyone’s budget. Although some of the latest technological versions such as illuminated, back lit and LED mirrors could be considered to be luxury items, some are not as expensive as you may have thought.

LED mirrors are great for shaving in as they light your face really well so you don’t suddenly find you missed a bit when you put your hand to your face whilst waiting at the bus stop!

Mirrors, Superstition and Auspicious Energy Flow

I have always loved mirrors, probably why I have ended up in the mirrors business! When I was at school I did a project on them, this was before the internet was invented mind so I trawled through piles and piles of reference books in both the school and local library for months. These days of course it would only take a couple of hours on Google, kids these days don’t know how easy they’ve got it!

Once you get immersed in mirrors as I did all those years ago, or ‘mirros’ as I frequently misspelled it, and start researching them, you find that they play a major part in all aspects of life. Mirrors also feature in superstitions. One of the most commonly known superstitions is that someone who breaks a mirror will receive seven years bad luck. A popular belief for this superstition is that mirrors are a reflection of the soul and if a mirror is broken, then part of the soul is broken. Added to this, some believe that the soul regenerates every seven years in an unbroken condition, hence the seven years of bad luck. I bet you’ve always wondered what that was about so I’m glad to share that with you!

It is also said that the mirror does not lie. A mirror can show only the truth. It is a very bad omen indeed to see something in a mirror which should not be there, a technique regularly used in scary movies! Some cultures also have a custom that a newborn child should not look into a mirror until its first birthday because its soul is still developing.

In the southern United States, it used to be customary to cover the mirrors in a house where the wake of a deceased person was being held. If a mirror was left uncovered or exposed, people believed that the deceased person’s soul would become trapped in any uncovered mirror.

Another superstition claims it is bad luck to have two mirrors facing each other. In the ancient art of Feng Shui mirror placement is considered very important. There is a lot of information available about this, and it is a subject that can’t be covered in a mere paragraph or two here. But Chi energy flow can be influenced by mirrors so where the energy needs to be diverted, mirrors can be used for this to great effect.
